Services we offer

Clinical Assessment
$200.00

This service provides a comprehensive mental health assessment, a vital step in understanding and addressing emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges. This 90 minute session aims to accurately diagnose mental health conditions and develop a personalized treatment plan.

The assessment involves:

Initial interviews: Gathering detailed information about current symptoms, their impact on daily life, personal and family history of mental health, and any previous treatments.

Psychosocial assessment: Exploring social, environmental, and familial factors, such as relationships, support systems, living situation, employment, and substance use.

Risk assessment: Evaluating potential for self-harm or harm to others.

Mental Status examination: Observing and evaluating appearance, behavior, speech, mood, thought processes, and cognitive function.

The benefits of a mental health assessment include gaining a thorough understanding of your mental health, obtaining a precise diagnosis, and collaboration to create an individual treatment plan to address your specific goals.

Couples Counseling
$175.00

60 minute duration designed for couples engaged in ongoing relational work using the Gottman Method. As a level 2 trained Gottman clinician, we integrate research- based interventions to strengthen emotional connection, improve communication and manage conflict effectively.

Targeted Gottman interventions such as:

Love maps to deepen understanding of each partners inner world

Fondness and Admiration exercises to reinforce positive regard

Stress Reducing Conversations to foster emotional attunement

Conflict Management strategies, including softened start-up and repair attempts

Dreams within Conflict to explore underlying values and meaning

Identification of Four Horsemen behaviors ( criticism, defensiveness, contempt, stonewalling) and implementation of their antidotes

Collaborative goal setting to reinforce shared meaning and relational growth.

*Prior completion of relationship checkup required. Will be discussed at initial assessment

Ongoing treatment sessions at Sentirsi Counseling are designed to support established clients through a thoughtful and responsive therapeutic process. Each session offers space to reflect on progress, notice changes in symptoms, and explore the emotional and behavioral patterns shaping daily life. Together, we look at current stressors, life transitions, and interpersonal dynamics, while identifying coping strategies that feel accessible and supportive.

Treatment goals are revisited regularly, allowing us to refine and adjust the work as your needs evolve. Evidence‑based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), mindfulness‑based practices, and supportive counseling are integrated in ways that honor your pace and preferences.

When working with minors, the therapeutic focus remains centered on the child or adolescent’s individual experience. Sessions are designed to provide a safe, respectful space where young clients can express themselves authentically without fear of judgment or pressure.

To support continuity of care, periodic check‑ins with parents or guardians are provided to share general observations, discuss concerns, review progress, and outline treatment themes. These updates are offered in a developmentally appropriate and privacy‑respecting manner, ensuring the minor’s therapeutic space remains protected. Parents are encouraged to communicate openly with the therapist about questions, concerns, or changes they are noticing at home, as collaboration is an important part of supporting a young person’s growth and well‑being.

Through this balanced approach—honoring the minor’s confidentiality while maintaining healthy communication with caregivers—treatment remains grounded, ethical, and supportive of the child’s emotional safety and long‑term progress.

Good Faith Estimate & No Surprises Act Notice

Sentirsi Counseling operates as a private‑pay practice and does not accept or bill any insurance plans. Many clients prefer this model for the increased privacy, flexibility, and autonomy it provides. If you choose to seek reimbursement from your insurance company, you may request a superbill to submit on your own. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends entirely on your insurance plan.

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of your mental health services. If you are uninsured or choose not to use insurance, you are entitled to a written Good Faith Estimate before beginning services or at any time upon request. This estimate outlines the anticipated fees for therapy sessions so you can make informed decisions about your care. It is not a bill, and actual costs may vary based on your treatment needs.

If you receive a bill that is substantially higher than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charges.

For questions or to request a Good Faith Estimate or superbill, please contact Sentirsi Counseling directly. My goal is to ensure clarity, fairness, and a supportive experience from the very first step
